Bruce Hager, Senior Construction Manager, is responsible for scheduling all site inspections and meetings with local municipalities and staff; performing site inspections, testing, walk-throughs, and helping to resolve any issues/conflicts during construction phases; performing all civil engineering submittal reviews for projects; reviewing and verifying contractor payment requests; attending any pre-con meetings; and supervising and training Morris Engineering’s field staff.
Prior to joining the team at Morris Engineering, Hager spent 36 years with Manatee County, during which he served as a Senior Infrastructure Inspector. At Morris, Hager has been an instrumental team member on a variety of active residential and commercial development projects from Wildwood to North Port. He has earned state licenses for code enforcement and as a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) inspector. He also has earned FEMA emergency incident command training (ICS100 to 800).
In his spare time, Hager enjoys golfing, fishing, creating metal artwork and spending time with his family.
