Matthew J. Morris, P.E., Owner/President, brings a strong technical and project management background to Morris Engineering. His expertise in the design, permitting and construction management of large- and small-scale development projects provides Morris Engineering with leadership and direction to help manage any project that its clients require, from initial due diligence and site planning and zoning to obtaining and managing entitlements and infrastructure construction.
Throughout his career, Matthew has worked on a variety of projects throughout Florida, including Heron Creek’s DRI and Toledo Village in North Port; Tern Bay DRI in Charlotte County; Victor Posner City Center, a CDD in Polk County; The Queue in Sarasota and many more.
Matthew received his bachelors degree in civil engineering from Florida State University. He is the past chairman of the Tern Bay CDD and is currently serving as assistant secretary of the Stoneybrook at Venice CDD, Heritage Harbour North CDD and Heritage Harbour Marketplace CDD. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Florida Engineering Society, the Manatee Chamber of Commerce.
