Rod Edwards, Construction Manager, works in the field section of Morris Engineering, which is considered the boots on the ground. He is responsible for working with contractors, County inspectors, and developers to build a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Since joining Morris Engineering’s team in late 2024, Edwards has truly enjoyed seeing projects come to live from design to fruition. His career includes 20 years between both the Denver Water Department in Denver, Colorado and as an Infrastructure Inspector with Manatee County – where he learned a lot about water distribution, pipe installation, sanitary sewer systems, storm design, road building and inspections.
In his spare time, Edwards enjoys time with his wife and family, volunteering at his church and coaching his daughter’s softball games. He also has enjoyed exploring Florida’s outdoors.
